What is Etsy Ads ROAS?
ROAS means Return on Ad Spend. A ROAS of 3.0 means that $1 spent on advertising generated $3 in attributed revenue. Revenue is not the same as profit. You can have positive ROAS and still lose money after materials, labor, shipping, Etsy fees, and advertising.
What is a good ROAS for Etsy Ads?
There isn't one ROAS number that's profitable for every Etsy shop. A high-margin product can afford a lower ROAS than a product with high materials, labor, shipping, or marketplace fees. The important number is your break-even ROAS.
Why different products need different ROAS
Different materials, labor, shipping costs, selling prices, and margins leave different amounts available for advertising. Check each product's costs to understand what it can afford. Maker Forge helps you keep track of those differences across your shop.
Every product has a different break-even point.
Calculating this once is easy. Keeping track of it across an entire shop is harder.
Maker Forge brings your product costs, materials, labor, marketplace fees, shipping, and sales together so you can see what you're actually earning.
