What's New in Maker Forge

We're constantly improving Maker Forge to make running a product business a little easier. Here's what we've been working on.

Many of these improvements come directly from conversations with makers using Maker Forge.

August 2026

  1. New FeatureBuilt from maker feedback

    Product Groupings

Organize related products into collections, product families, or variations. Products can belong to more than one grouping, and each grouping keeps its products and costs together in one clear list.

    • See selling prices and material costs together.
    • Add or remove products directly from a grouping.
  2. New FeatureBuilt from maker feedback

    Duplicate Products

Creating a variation, bundle, or similar product is faster. Duplicate an existing product and use its materials, build parts, production time, costs, and notes as the starting point for a new one.

  3. ImprovementBuilt from maker feedback

    Default Product Prices

Products can now have a default selling price, making it easier to compare what you actually charge with your costs, margins, and pricing recommendations.

  4. Fix

    Reliable Direct Page Links

Public Maker Forge pages now load correctly when opened or refreshed directly, so saved and shared links take visitors where they expect to go.

  5. Improvement

    A Simpler Store Home

Store Home is cleaner and easier to scan, with direct access to the products, materials, contacts, time categories, and other information that keeps your shop organized.

July 2026

  1. New Feature

    Product Dashboard

Product costing, maker earnings, time value, channel profit, and sales performance now come together in a more useful product dashboard.

  2. Improvement

    Improved Pricing Workflow

The pricing simulator makes it easier to understand how selling price, discounts, marketplace fees, and product costs affect what you and your business keep.
