Terms of Service

These Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy govern your use of Maker Forge.

You affirmatively accept these Terms by selecting the acceptance checkbox and choosing Accept & Continue. If you do not agree, do not use the authenticated Service.

You must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use Maker Forge.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws.

Maker Forge provides business-management tools for makers and small product businesses. Features may help you understand products, materials, components, labor and time costs, pricing, profitability, orders, sales channels, marketplace transactions, and other business-performance information.

Maker Forge may connect to third-party marketplaces and services to provide functionality you request.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate account information
• Keep your login credentials secure
• Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised
• Accept responsibility for activity that occurs under your account

Maker Forge uses Microsoft Entra ID for authentication.

We never receive or store your Microsoft password.

The data you enter into Maker Forge belongs to you.

This includes products, materials, pricing, labor estimates, suppliers, contacts, stores, orders, notes, and other business information.

You grant Maker Forge permission to store, process, calculate metrics from, display, and back up this information as necessary to provide and maintain the Service and the functionality you request.

We do not claim ownership of your business data.

You agree not to:

• Break or attempt to bypass security measures
• Reverse engineer or interfere with the Service
• Upload malicious software
• Use the Service for unlawful purposes
• Attempt unauthorized access to other user accounts
• Disrupt the operation of Maker Forge
• Use automated methods to abuse or overload the Service
• Circumvent access controls or subscription restrictions
• Use another person's account without authorization
• Use an integration in violation of applicable third-party terms

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Maker Forge may offer free, recurring paid, and one-time or lifetime Founder plans.

Features available depend on your subscription level.

We may change plan features or pricing prospectively. Changes do not alter billing periods already paid unless required by law.

Subscriptions are billed through Stripe.

By purchasing a subscription, you authorize Stripe to process payments according to your selected plan.

Unless canceled, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period.

You may cancel or change an eligible plan through the available billing controls. Cancellation stops future renewal and does not ordinarily provide a refund for a completed billing period.

You are responsible for applicable taxes unless the checkout process states that they are collected by Maker Forge or its payment provider.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

Please review the Refund Policy for details regarding subscription and Founder purchases.

We strive to keep Maker Forge available at all times.

However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.

Maintenance, upgrades, or unforeseen technical issues may occasionally make the Service unavailable.

We are not liable for temporary interruptions.

We make reasonable efforts to protect your data.

However, you remain responsible for maintaining backups of information that is important to your business.

No cloud service can guarantee against every possible failure.

Maker Forge calculations depend on information supplied by you, connected marketplaces, third-party services, and Maker Forge formulas. They may include product, material, labor, marketplace fee, shipping, profit, margin, suggested price, Maker Earnings, Business Earnings, hourly earnings, and other financial metrics.

These results are informational estimates and decision-support tools. We do not guarantee that they are complete, accurate, profitable, or appropriate for every business situation.

Maker Forge does not provide accounting, tax, financial, or legal advice. You remain responsible for pricing, accounting, taxes, regulatory compliance, and business decisions.

Consult qualified professionals when advice is needed for your circumstances.

Marketplaces, payment providers, authentication providers, shipping services, and other third parties operate independently from Maker Forge. Their services are governed by their own terms and policies.

Third parties may change, restrict, interrupt, or discontinue their services or APIs. Maker Forge does not control or guarantee the continuous availability of any third-party integration.

Maker Forge is developed and provided independently and is not an official Etsy product.

DISCLAIMER: THIS APPLICATION IS SOLELY PROVIDED BY MAKER FORGE. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT ETSY, INC. AND ITS AFFILIATES ARE NOT THE APPLICATION DEVELOPER, DO NOT PROVIDE THE APPLICATION SERVICE, AND MAKE NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND WITH RESPECT TO THE APPLICATION OR DATA ACCESSED THROUGH IT.

Maker Forge, including its software, branding, logos, graphics, design, and content, is owned by Maker Forge unless otherwise noted.

You may not copy, redistribute, modify, sell, or reverse engineer any portion of the Service except as permitted by law.

Maker Forge uses the Etsy API to provide Etsy integration features.

The term 'Etsy' is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This Application uses Etsy's API, but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy.

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or feature requests, you grant Maker Forge permission to use those ideas without obligation or compensation.

We genuinely appreciate your ideas. They help improve the product for everyone.

You may stop using Maker Forge at any time.

You may request account closure and data deletion by contacting support@getmakerforge.com. Requests are verified before account data is removed.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms
• Abuse the Service
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Threaten the security or stability of the platform

After closure, we may retain limited records when reasonably necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, billing, or dispute purposes. Residual backup copies may remain until they age out through normal backup processes.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maker Forge is provided "as is" and "as available."

We make no guarantees that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, suitable for every business, or that calculations, marketplace data, integrations, sales, revenue, profitability, or other business outcomes will be accurate or available.

Maker Forge shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost business opportunities, or loss of data arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to Maker Forge during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Maker Forge, its owners, employees, and affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of applicable law
• Your infringement of another party's rights

We may update these Terms from time to time.

We will update the effective date and version when the document changes. Material changes may require you to affirmatively accept a new version before continuing to use authenticated features.

Minor changes that do not materially alter the agreement may not require renewed acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maine, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any legal disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate state or federal courts located in Maine.
